We are Hiring a Frontend Developer to Join Our WATS Team
Virinco AS is growing, and to strengthen the development team behind our leading software application WATS, we are looking for a developer with a primary interest in frontend programming.
At Virinco AS, you’ll work closely with our products and follow them throughout their entire lifecycle. You will become part of an engaged team where each individual has significant influence on the further development of our applications, and what you help create will be distributed to customers all over the world.
Background and Skills:
We prefer that you have a bachelor’s degree or higher education and a few years of experience, but we would also love to hear from recent graduates. The most important thing is that you have strong programming skills and are motivated to make a difference with us.
At a minimum, you should have strong skills in web development (HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript). We work with Angular and TypeScript, so experience with Angular—or at least similar frameworks like React or Vue—will be a big advantage.
Additional knowledge in one or more of the following areas would be a bonus:
- Reactive programming / Observables / RXJS
- Git
- Microsoft DevOps
- Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code
- .NET (especially C#)
- REST API
Other qualities we are looking for:
- A focus on usability and GUI design
- Fluent Norwegian and English skills, both spoken and written
- An engaged and creative approach to development work
- Ability to work analytically and in a structured manner
- A desire to work in a team and share your knowledge
- A genuine passion for technology and IT
