We’re excited to announce the pre-release of a groundbreaking feature in WATS – Heatmap, in Q1. This new addition is set to become a central place for starting root cause analysis, offering a more intuitive and efficient way to manage your manufacturing test data. Let’s quickly show you how.
A New Perspective On Test Analysis
For the first time, WATS will combine product-specific data with the typical yield information that users are used to seeing. But we’re taking it a step further. The Heatmap not only displays products on the left-hand side with their corresponding yield data but also correlates this with the unique testing flow each product goes through.
This approach allows for a comprehensive view of product movement throughout testing phases and natural process flows. What that means for you is that you’ll get a complete view of a product seeing exactly what you need to – totally customized for you and your business.
Diving Deep Into Quality Data
Quality management is all about details. With the Heatmap, users can zoom in to closely examine any aspect that appears ‘off’ in some way, be it pass/fail rates or yield anomalies. This feature offers a granular view of your data, helping you identify and address specific issues quickly by presenting them straight away – without the need to dig in order to spot issues. That focus on prioritization has been developed following user feedback.
Here are some examples of the Heatmap and different views of test data.
We know you all are super busy, with many of you wearing multiple hats at once in your production and testing environment. By visually representing data, it becomes immediately apparent where attention is needed most. This intuitive interface helps users quickly focus on areas with the most significant impact on product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
A Step Towards Smarter Manufacturing
The introduction of the Heatmap in WATS is more than just a new feature; it’s part of a bigger push towards smarter, more data-driven manufacturing processes. That’s what WATS has always been about, but as we get more users, more data, and more use cases, we learn better ways to implement the tools you need.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to the full release of this exciting new feature, as well as some even bigger announcements that are on the horizon. We’re committed to continuously improving the WATS experience, making sure it remains a tool that always helps you.
Got some extra feedback you think we need to hear? We always want to know how we can improve, and with great feedback, you get great features like Heatmap. Stay tuned for more updates on the release of Heatmap.
